Rise of Cultures is a Civilization-style strategy/management game in which you can create your own empire and watch it evolve from the Stone Age to modern times, going through the Bronze Age and the Industrial Revolution along the way.
Because Rise of Cultures has somewhat complex mechanics, it has an extensive, detailed tutorial. During the tutorial, you'll learn how to build dwellings and farms for your inhabitants, which is essential for your civilization to grow. You'll also learn how to research new technology, expand your territory, and battle your enemies.
The tech tree of Rise of Cultures is relatively similar to the one in the Civilization series. The goal is to invest your research points in unlocking technologies that will help your empire. Some technologies, such as steel, will greatly improve your military power, which is essential to expanding your borders.
Rise of Cultures is an entertaining strategy game that's similar to great 4X games, such as the aforementioned Civilization, but with simplified features that have been adapted to mobile devices. On top of all that, it has great graphics too.

It is not playable due to lack of a pending update from two weeks ago.
the app needs an update. since yesterday, i think there was a patch. with the current download version this game is unplayable. ;-)
